Brasilito Beach Costa Rica is a beautiful and extensive beach, just a little over 2km long, with gray sand, blue waters and a great scenic beauty, located within a charming village in the Pacific coast in Guanacaste, which although much less developed and visited than the nearby beaches like Conchal and Flamingo, it offers a wide variety of accommodations, shops, bars and restaurants within a very reasonable budget, where you can also rent horses, motorbikes, diving equipment and much more.
Brasilito beach is ideal for vacationers seeking a more relaxed destination, perfect for swimmers and those who enjoy a quiet and less crowded atmosphere. Moreover, Brasilito beach is near Las Baulas Marine National Park, among is one of the most important beaches in the world for the future of sea turtles, where visitors can witness different species of turtles in the coast performing their nesting ritual.
Getting to Brasilito Beach Costa Rica in Guanacaste:
From San José
Drive north to Puntarenas and then follow the highway to Liberia until you reach Belen. There, turn right and continue on the road until you get to Huacas. Once in Huacas, turn right towards Conchal and Flamingo and continue for about 4.5 km (3 miles) until you get to Brasilito, here turn left and continue until until you reach Brasilito beach. This route requires a total of 4 hours from San José.
From Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR)
Drive south until you reach Belen. There, turn right and continue on the road until you get to Huacas. Once in Huacas, turn right towards Conchal and Flamingo and continue for about 4.5 km (3 miles) until you get to Brasilito, turn left and continue until until you reach Brasilito beach.
By bus
Take a bus from the route San José – Huacas – Flamingo – Brasilito, making the stop at Brasilito beach, which takes about 4 hours (Tralapa, +506 2221-7202). We recommend buying the ticket a day earlier to be sure your seat is saved.
By plane
You can also take a flight from the Juan Santamaria Airport to the Tamarindo airport, either with Sansa or Aerobell Airlines every day. From here you can rent a car and drive or take a taxi to Brasilito beach, which takes about 15 minutes.
