Drive south to Santa Cruz, pass the DO IT Center and take the next exit to Sardinal on your right. Once in Sardinal, continue on the road to Coco Beach (Playas del Coco) for about 7 km (4 miles) until you reach the beach.

By bus

Take a bus from the route San José – El Coco Beach, which takes about 5 hours (Pulmitan Liberia, +506 2222-1650 / +506 2666-3818). We recommend buying the ticket the day before to ensure your space.

By plane

You can also take a flight from the Juan Santamaria Airport to the Daniel Oduber airport at Liberia, either with Sansa or Aerobell Airlines every day. From here you can rent a car and drive or take a taxi to Coco beach (Playas del Coco), which takes about 15 minutes.
