Junquillal Bay Beach is a beautiful white sand beach with crystal blue waters, surrounded by almost intact lush vegetation typical of the tropical dry forest and with a small decline, located in the Gulf of Santa Elena, in the northwestern part of the Guanacaste province, ideal for those looking to have a vacation full of peace and privacy.
Junquillal Bay Beach is part of the Junquillal Bay Wildlife Refuge, so it has the Blue Flag recognition, an award given to beaches in Costa Rica that comply with high standards in health and safety conditions.
The gentle waves along with the transparency of its waters and the extent of it’s sandy shore, make Junquillal Bay Beach ideal for long, soothing walks along its coast and is also for a little fishing, diving, snorkeling or just relax in its cool waters, as they are influenced by an ocean current.
