Papaturro is a beautiful, wide beach, about 2 km long, with clear golden sand and cold blue waters, located between Punta Morro and Punta Copal, in the Guanacaste province.
Papaturro beach is ideal to practice both kitesurfing and windsurfing, as it is in one of the top ten windiest places in the world, the Salinas Bay, so it has strong waves, especially during the months of November to May when the winds are even stronger. In addition, Papaturro Beach is also ideal for a little sport fishing, walking along the coast, visit the lush Bolaños Island, or just relaxing in the sun and enjoy the sound of the waves.
