Ocotal Beach is the most clean and quiet beach of the area, of volcanic origin, less than 1 km in length with rock formations, dark sands, almost black, and blue waters, located south of the popular town of Playas del Coco, in Guanacaste province. Ocotal Beach is surrounded by hills and cliffs, in fact, very near the coast are several islands, including the beautiful Ocotal island, whose waters are full of marine life, making it a great place to dive next to a wide variety of tropical fishes as well as turtles, rays, sharks and even some octopus. In addition, Ocotal beach is also popular to practice some water sports such as surfing and fishing, especially Sailfish.<\/p>\n
