This magnificent tiny French-Canadian restaurant of Ojochal is a gourmet’s paradise, which has been serving superb tropical food with for more than a decade. Simply could not get enough of the fantastic food that Exotica Restaurant served. Whether its lunch or dinner, each meal is perfect! From the service, to the presentation and to the quality to the taste of the food, Exotica is simple the best. Breakfast and lunch customers can bring laptops to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi connection. Reservations are advised for dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentation is artistic, with flourishes of flowers and sprigs of exotic greenery. For starters, you can try the refreshing avocado, pineapple, lime and cilantro appetizer, or a delightful Tahitian fish Carpaccio with bananas, follow by an exquisite serving of fish or shrimp in a spicy banana-curry sauce. Besides, desserts are all homemade and delicious. Chocoholics won’t want to miss the Devils Fork, a chocolate thick and rich brownie with some chili powder inside served with ice cream.<\/p>\n

Exotica Restaurant is located away deep along the dirt road that runs through Ojochal, 20 minutes south of Dominical. It may look like a common soda, but the decor is charming, with polished concrete floors, roll-up bamboo screens for walls, and only a few tree-trunk slab tables and plastic lawn chairs for furniture, it is nonetheless one of the most popular restaurants in the area, with fantastic food and prices very affordable. It is definitely a place you must go!<\/p>\n
