El Rodeo Steak House has been operating in Belén for over 45 years and is one of the best-known grill restaurants in the San José metropolitan area. It sits inside El Rodeo Estancia Boutique Hotel on the Santa Ana radial, only a few minutes from Juan Santamaría International Airport — which makes it a common stop for travellers overnighting before a flight, as well as a long-standing favourite for Costa Rican families.

The kitchen specialises in export-grade cuts cooked over the grill. The side they are best known for is the house frijoles El Rodeo — their own black bean recipe. The dining room is large, so it regularly handles big groups, family celebrations and corporate dinners.
